We are incredibly excited to announce that we have a new Buckskin supplier. The new buckskins are of fantastic quality, as you can tell from the photos above. We look forward to doing business with this supplier and have ordered new colors of buckskin from them. These buckskins will be replacing the AA gold buckskin that we previously had but with much better quality.

THESE MEASURE 9 TO 9 3/4 SQUARE FEET IN SIZE!!!!!

These buckskins are Gold in color, Premium Grade, incredibly soft, and have a grain and suede side. These hides are available in multiple sizes and are measured by a laser scanner, to be precise. Each Hide averages approximately 3 to 4 oz (medium weight). I will add more sizes as they become available.

These are natural products, so no piece is the same. Some pieces may have small holes or blemishes.


Crafts that can be made with these hides include flute bags, medicine bags, moccasins, and other crafts.

*Hide weight information

Hide thickness is measured in ounces. One ounce equals 1/64" in thickness. Thus, a weight of 3 oz. means the leather averages 3/64” thick.

Look in the photos for a chart showing different conversion rates regarding ounces.
